We had our Wedding at Ridgeway on 16/11/24 and it can only be described as amazing. From the day we went for our first viewing with Bill, he was honest and even told us to go view other venues, which we did, and nothing could come close to Ridgeway. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. The food was outstanding and the venue was decorated even better than we imagined. The day went without a hitch and went so smoothly, and this was purely down to the outstanding staff who work tirelessly to ensure that not only the bride and groom but their guests had a brilliant day.
GARETH.. where do i begin! You are the best wedding organiser we could have asked for! Your communication is fantastic and you were always only a message away when we needed anything. You went above and beyond for us and to have you drive me to the wedding was just the icing on the cake for me (not forgetting our little jig before i was about to walk down the aisle

We had our wedding at the Ridgeway last night and it was everything we could’ve hoped for! The food was amazing and honestly, we’ve only been looked after better by our parents! To Gareth, Rob, and Ollie you guys made us feel so special on our day and even though everyone was running around like headless chickens you still managed to put together a night we’ll never forget. wow,where do i start? me and roy attended a wedding last year,at Ridgeway that evening roy proposed, we knew straight away what we needed to do ,straight on the phone to Bill at Ridgeway, no other venue was entertained.
From the moment Rob picked me up, i was somehow made to feel like the most important person in the world .
Entertainment ,wow Rob, Ollie you was amazing, the games, quizes,you got every one up dancing , laughing , i didnt want the night to end .

Matthew and I would like to mention our gratitude for the incredible efforts from Ridgeway Golf 4 All. We’ve been chatting all morning about how amazing Rob was through-out the whole day and night. Not only did he drive Matt to the venue, but he also drove us home, too. He made sure I looked fresh during the day, made sure our party and music was incredible, took us out for a cheeky spin in the Porsche after the starter (since it was too muddy to use the buggy), took the most incredible photos and always made sure we were hydrated

Every single guest we spoke to expressed how they had never gone to a wedding like ours. They said the entertainment and the vibe was magical, and that’s exactly what we wanted.

We got married at Ridgeway yesterday (28.07.24) and honestly it was the best day of our lives. Everyone has commented on how amazing their day was. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect and that we were looked after all day – we were never without a drink! We could not have wished for a better venue.
Alison was amazing during the day and made sure we were looked after and everything ran how we wanted it to. Same with the evening, Ollie was fantastic always checking in to see if we were ok. They both were so lovely and approachable and kept updating us on what we like be happening next.
Bill really got the party started and everyone has commented on how amazing this was. Everyone had a great time and loved the games! We had such a fun time.
Rob thank you so much for driving me to the venue and always keeping me calm on the way there and making us all laugh. Also thank you for making sure myself and my husband were happy throughout and also running us through what was going happen next. We had a good laugh going out of the golf course and taking the pictures thank you so much.
If I could do the day again all over again, I would choose this venue every time as it is such a beautiful venue, but also everyone is so passionate about their jobs here that they make sure every detail of your day is perfect.

The day itself was absolutely amazing!
Rob was a massive highlight of our day always making everyone laugh from the moment he picked the bride up to dancing on the dance floor at midnight, even going above and beyond and making sure we was safely in our hotel room.

Me and my husband got married on the 18th July and honestly it was the best day of our lives, Ridgeway went out of there way to make sure that everything was perfect for us and we could not be more thankful for everyone that help organise the wedding with us.
Gareth went way beyond to make sure that everything was the way that I wanted it to be even though I’m sure that I was annoying at times by asking stupid question but you always put my mind at ease. You made us feel like a friend was planning our wedding and always knew how to keep us calm if we were getting stressed. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us.
We also want to thank Ollie for all the support on the day of the wedding and making sure everything was set out perfect for us. Thank you for make sure that the day ran smoothly by talking us through how the day would be ran.

You have such a great team of people who really make it extra special.

The lead up to the day was great as I could relax In knowing that every thing was sorted
The day it’s self was absolutely more then we could have even dreamt of.
Gareth was always at hand for any thing I needed and really made the morning of the wedding for me I was lucky enough for him to pick me up in the morning and he really made me feel special and at ease as the nerves kicked in, he was completely sympathetic to how I was feeling all the excitement and nerves and he just took it all in his stride.
Also making the day how we wanted it with last minute changes and it was never an issue.
Oh and Ollie was absolutely brilliant he really made the day go off with a bang .. he knows how to make that dress flow before walking down the aisle, he also made us both feel at ease made us laugh and just really helped with all the planning during the day thank you so much

The organisation and commitment they have shown us from the day we booked has been phenomenal. They have made everything so easy for us from regular meetings to setting the place up perfectly as we had hoped. Any tweeks we requested were done immediately and without fuss.

Well where do I start. We celebrated our wedding here on Thu and were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. They truly went above and beyond with the attention to detail and talked us through what would happen on the day step by step. You feel totally at ease in their hands. They are the perfect hosts. The attention to detail at Ridgeway is Something else and they are so welcoming treating us like you would family from the second we met. Finally getting around to leaving a review after living in the wedding bubble. This venue went above and beyond on multiple occasions, nothing was ever to much trouble. The staff are absolutely amazing! The entertainment was brilliant and everyone said what a fantastic wedding it was! There aren’t enough words to describe how fantastic this place is. I had my reservations when we first booked, not believing all the reviews but i was proven wrong a million times over. From Rob calming my nerves, saving me from a disaster when I’d left my bouquet at home and ensuring everyone was having a good time- even the 100s of photos our nieces were taking on the magic mirror. Ollie was outstanding in the day, so helpful and attentive and a joy to have around. Ali in the evening got everyone up and moving, we were apprehensive over the evening entertainment initially but we are SO glad we did it as so many have commented how great it was at the wedding and we had a blast! Gareth was always on hand for questions and worries prior to the wedding and on the day, even though I felt a bit bridezilla he was always patient and got me the answersI needed.
Also- the food we had was so tasty. The whole day was truly magical and I would recommend anyone to get married here as we honestly had the most special, fun day.

I really don’t know where to start…. Me and my husband had the most amazing day! All the staff were so thoughtful, helpful, calming and also our biggest support for the day from start to finish nothing was too much (even down to scrubbing mud off my dress “rob”) nothing was going to ruin our day with Ali, Olly, Rob, Gareth and the rest of the team around. From before, during and after the whole team couldn’t help enough…
Ourselves and every guest that attended did not want the day to end, we have had phone calls off most saying how amazing the day and night were and how much fun they had especially with the provided evening entertainment!
Myself and my husband just want to rewind and do it all over again we had the most perfect day and couldn’t recommend Ridgeways’s enough! They are amazing!

We had our wedding here on Saturday 27th April and it was absolutely breathtaking. The venue was dressed exactly how I had envisioned it in my head and was stunning. Everyone commented how beautiful it was

Ali kept me calm in the moments prior to the ceremony and was my right hand lady in the first few hours post ceremony.
Ollie then took over and was our party man, DJ and another friend to me. He kept the drinks flowing and the tunes pumping.
There is so much I want to say but to sum it up in one word……perfect. I cannot recommend Ridgeway or the staff any higher and genuinely will never forget each one of the staff who made our day special. We 100% will be back to renew vows or celebrate an anniversary in the future.

Such a beautiful venue, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. The staff at The Ridgeway were superb! So helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. Gareth was fantastic, he kept in contact right the way through, keeping us updated with everything, tending to last minute requests or changes. I can’t sing Rob’s praises enough, he looked after us right up until unloading our bags at the Celtic Manor. Ali kept us supplied with drinks all day and night and was really so lovely. Oli was quite the entertainer lol, he done a great job of the entertainment, was fun and light hearted. Such a lovely atmosphere and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic the venue is and how much fun the entertainment was. Thank you all so much.

my husband and I got married at ridgeway golf 4 all on Saturday 23rd March 2024 I really don’t know where to start.
I met Ali when i went to view the venue early last year and she was amazing showing me around and telling me everything they can offer to the point I didn’t even need to ask her any questions as she had told me everything I wanted to know.
I went home and spoke with my partner we then booked the venue april 2023 he hadn’t even been there himself he went off what I had told him and off everything he seen on Facebook. we then did book a meeting just for tony to see the venue in person.
Gareth I really don’t know what to say you have been fantastic. speaking to you was like speaking to someone I have been friends with for years. when I came for my final meeting with you everything was just perfect. I had a few little issue with my guest dropping out and when I spoke with Gareth he did everything he could to help me and made sure I knew everything would be fine.
On the day of our wedding we had Rob pick me and my dad up and what a gentleman he is. Rob told me the best way to get in the car and also made sure I was sat comfortable and that my dress was all tucked in. we had a good laugh all the way driving to the venue not once was it quiet which makes a big difference. Rob explained to me what I needed to do when I got to venue even down to getting an umbrella so I didn’t get wet as it started to rain and made sure I got inside without getting wet and then went back for my dad. Rob also gave me his jacked when we was driving on the golf buggy as it was freezing I told him I was fine and he said I know your not it’s like you got chicken skin haha. Rob is defo a joker which really does make your day.
I met olive (ollie) and he was a true gentleman aswell asking how I was feeling and said all will be fine as I walked to the entrance of the isle ollie made sure my train on my dress was perfect. he would also check that me and my partner always had a drink and was always around if we needed him.
Our food was amazing we couldn’t of asked for anything better the waiters were lovely always checking that we was happy with everything. our day was just perfect everything just flowed so well there was no hanging around thinking what’s next it just all went so smoothly.
our evening entertainers Rob Ali and Bill well what can I say I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much it was fantastic you got everyone involved and got everyone laughing there was not a dull moment at all we loved every minute of it and was gutted that the night had to end.

Ridgeway was the first place we viewed back in June last year, and we decided there and then that we wanted to have our special day celebrated there.
From start to finish, Gareth and Bill were always available to answer any questions that we had and to offer their expertise.
Ollie, Ali and Bill were on hand during every minute of our special day, ensuring that all our, and our guests needs were met, checking that our food orders were fulfilled correctly and making sure our glasses were never empty. The evening entertainment (which was started by Bill), was a good way of getting our guests into the party mood and encouraging them to participate in dance offs, quizzes and of course the famous Mr and Mrs Game ( which got all the guests involved with questions for the newly married couple).
From the time Rob met with the bride and the bridal party, he worked tirelessly into the early hours. Rob had the delightful job in driving the bridal party from the hotel to the venue

Rob was also the man to throw all sorts of shapes on the dance floor as well as doing some of the djing with Ali. Once the party was over, Rob chauffeured the bride and groom to their accommodation, again Rob carried all the bags etc to our room, nothing was too much trouble
Overall, our day was just absolutely fabulous, both Barrie and I had a wonderful day, and we thank all concerned at Ridgeway for making our day special.
Last but not least, we would also like to thank Cheryl at ADU events for the finishing touches and dove release (which was very emotional for many on the day) to the setting up of the venue, when together both sections of the Marquee looked absolutely stunning.
THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR A MEMORABLE AND EMOTIONAL DAY.

From start to finish the whole day was just Perfect- from the venue to the staff it was all just amazing , the whole day run so smoothly and that’s thanks to everyone at ridgeway, from the moment we went to view the venue till our wedding day Gareth and Bill was so helpful and always at the other end of the phone if we needed them
On the day of the wedding Ollie and Ali were amazing, such professional and friendly – Ali couldn’t do enough for us from getting our food and drinks and also the entertainment was brilliant – rob bill and Ali done the entertainment and got everyone up dancing and laughing
Rob was our lift and he went above and beyond too , carrying our bags right to our hotel door for us – none of the staff could do enough for us , every single person went above and beyond for us and just made the day so stress free and I couldn’t believe how smoothly the whole day went! We was never left on our own or left wondering what was going to happen next, we was talked through the whole day and it was just a beautiful experience and I wouldn’t have changed a subtle thing!

We had the baby and he always sleeps early so that was always a worry for us aswell but they let us set the baby’s cot up and put him to bed and the girls working the bar kept reassuring us the baby was fine and they kept checking on him which was such a weight lifted off our shoulders that we knew he was safe and looked after

How can we possibly put into words what Ridgeway meant to us? We couldn’t have asked for a better day and such wonderful people taking care of us. Everybody went above and beyond. From Gareth who was totally marvellous and helped with our planning, to Rob picking me up in the car who instantly calmed me down and kept me settled right up until my walk down the aisle, to Ali who was there right there from the start making sure the day went as planned, to Ollie who provided fantastic entertainment and a fab party, and to the bar staff and security who were fantastic. Our guests said it was a beautiful place, they loved the party games and laughs and had never been to a wedding like it before – they absolutely loved it! The day and night ran so smoothly, we had no reason to have any worries. As I have huge mobility problems, a special mention again to Rob and Ollie who were caring and made sure I was looked after all night, and also made sure myself and my new Husband were never without a drink. From the moment the cars came to collect me until the very end it was incredible. The staff are amazing and I felt like a celebrity, nothing was too much for them. The venue is so beautiful and every single one of my guests enjoyed themselves. The food was excellent .

Gareth was honestly one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and could not do enough for us in the planning and run-up to the wedding. The timing of the day was fantastic, the entertainment was incredible and every single guest in attendance mentioned how brilliant the staff were. My husband and I got married at RidgewayGolf Club on 1st of March 2024. From the start Gareth and Bill were fantastic and answers any questions we had and put it at easy from the start. Gareth felt like ur best friend who you’ve known for years.
On the day we had Rob and Ali who again were fab.and friendly. They walked us through everything, never went with an empty glass. Nothing was too much trouble. I went all day without any nerves or worries and that was thanks to everyone involved.
Food was amazing the 3 course meal and the buffet. Accommodated for our veggie guests also.
Then we came to Ollie in the night who again felt like we had known him forever. The games and laughs were a real crowd pleaser and got the party off to a good start.
I can’t thank all at Ridgeway from the wedding team to the caterer’s and bar staff. We had the best day of our life and would definitely recommend. We also used Flashback photography who are recommended by ridgeway and they also were professional and friendly can’t wait for our photos back to relive our day we only wish we could do it all over again.

“When looking for a venue we searched so many venues locally and the reviews for Ridgeway were second to none so we went ahead and booked! Seeing all those good reviews could never have prepared me for how amazing our day actually would be.. From the day we booked we were looked after by the staff and they were always on hand for absolutely anything at all, I had my fair few melt downs during the wedding build up, each one fixed by Gareth and dissolving every ounce of stress along the way! Rob was an absolute gem too, my husband loved every minute of his journey to our big day! Ally & Ollie were outstanding and we had Rob & Ollie join us for the evening entertainment which was beyond all of our expectations.. I had the honour of Gareth driving me in the minibus and it was like going for a drive with my best friend, we had endless laughs and it really put me at ease.. The venue was absolutely beautiful and we had the finishing touches package which just elevated the entire day! I’m already wanting to renew our vows just to go through the entire experience again!

The food was delicious and the entertainment AMAZING. Bill had everyone involved and the marquee rocking before the cake was cut! we didn’t stop laughing and guests have already asked if they can hire him!
The marquee was cosy and warm (even in high winds) and STUNNING with its fairy lights and tasteful decorations. The additional decorations for our personal touch were set up perfectly.

Gareth, the wedding planner, deserves special recognition for his exceptional attention to detail and his ability to bring the our vision to life. Every aspect of the wedding, from the decorations to the schedule, was flawlessly executed, thanks to his expertise.

Ali was brilliant and very welcoming, Gareth was brilliant throughout and it honestly felt like he couldn’t do enough for us.
Ollie was brilliant with the entertainment and again who couldn’t do enough for us on the big day.

Where do I even start with this email as I feel words don’t do it justice . The reviews are all fantastic so we had high expectations anyway but the service, quality and attention to detail we received was way beyond our wildest dreams. We never had an empty glass throughout the whole day (ask our hangovers) and the team could not have done more if they tried. From the moment we were both picked up to the moment we left we were well and truly looked after.
Our guests all had a fantastic time and even said this is what all weddings should be like. The food was stunning, the entertainment was second to none and the whole day flew by without a problem.
Gareth was always on hand leading up to the wedding to answer any questions we had and nothing was of too much trouble.

My husband and I got married on the 11.08.2023
It was the most incredible day from start to finish!
From that start is was a no brainer.
The venue was stunning, it had everything we could have possibly needed and when they say “all the bells and whistles” they really mean it… and all for an amazing price!
It was so easy to book, and the staff were incredible throughout the whole process.
Bill and Gareth were always available when we had any queries and happy to run through anything we needed.
Leading up to the wedding we had all the support and guidance to make our day as special as possible.
I can’t stress how much they made this whole experience stress free.
On arrival everything flowed perfectly, the entertainment was a HUGE hit and everyone had so much fun and said how amazing it was!
It really got the party started 
We were looked after by Gareth and Ally who sought to our every need and couldn’t do enough for us, honestly they were incredible. They communicated with us the whole way through. All the staff we professional and attentive.
I would love to give Rob and Paul a shout out, they were incredible and added a few personal touches that we really appreciated.
All in all our experience was nothing but exceptional and we would highly recommend Ridgeway Golf club to anyone who is looking to book a wedding venue or even to book a special event, it has so much potential.

Me and my wife where privileged to have our special day here on Sunday the 6th of August and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish everything was wonderful the entire staff was attentive and nothing was too much. Our little boy was made to feel like royalty, and his trip in the golf buggy made his day, thank you Rob. Thank you all, Ally, Ollie, Gareth, Rob and Bill for making the day unforgettable, it was amazing and we can’t put in words how grateful we are. (Ally this is from Mikaela thank you for being with me every step of the way and keeping me grounded and Rob thank you for all the laughs)
We got married on Friday 4th August, from the first viewing until the day after our wedding there wasn’t anything that was to much trouble, every time I messaged Gareth there was a respons as soon as he could if he couldn’t not or was out of office an alternative number was given. I opted to do my own centre pieces and supply my own bows and runners was so anxious it wouldn’t be set up as my vision looked! But it was everything and more, Alison, Rob, Charlotte and the photographers we brilliant, Alison was on hand to explain everything to us, got our drinks for us every time we needed refills.
Rob is a character really kept us chilled.the food was amazing day and night, Ollie the night entertainer was exceptional really got the crowd going, the whole set up the correspondence was 100% it’s beautiful toilet facilities are clean and new and drinks not expensive only thing I’d suggest is for registra to get a microphone for the service Gareth was very easy to work with and it made life so much easier x
The best day of our entire lives! I could not believe how amazing all staff were here. Gareth deserves some sort of recognition to the fact he would be always on the other end of the phone despite what time it was! It was a very emotional day and felt very sad that we would probably not see Gareth again!
Rob was absolutely life and soul of the party! What an absolute vibe. He is absolutely hilarious and went above and beyond for myself, husband and guests including the dog Mickey!
Everything was perfect and we felt like royalty being waited on hand and foot by Ali. She was a diamond! Extremely professional and looked after us well.
Olly was fantastic, what an absolute hero, age 19 and so confident!! You are going places!!!

My husband & I got married here on 2nd of August. The day its self was amazing Gareth even went shopping on the day to make sure I had quantro for my skittle bombs 3 different shops I believe lol thank you Gareth the staff went above & beyond to make sure we were looked after never laughed so much in my life a huge shout out to Rob who got me in the car in the pouring rain then was checking on me all day & in the last hour or so was a very big support then got me in the taxi at the end of the night his words were I got you here so I have to make sure you leave safely so thank you so much Rob. Wish we had the magic mirror earlier than we did as half our guest had left by the time we got to use it. The meals were beautiful everyone said they thoroughly enjoyed all our guests complimented on how beautiful the venue is . Would recommend better air conditioning though it was extremely warm when saying my vows almost passed out but apart from that the day was a dream everything we could have asked for & more thank you Ali Ollie & of course rob kind regards Mr & Mrs Gater x
Well what a day we had. Myself and my husband got married here on the 29th of July and we had a lovely day. We booked the sunset package & everyone was so impressed. Everyone had so much fun throughout the day from the ceremony right through to the evening entertainment which everyone had commented on how good it was. Al, Rob & Ollie were brilliant, we did however miss Gareth (good old Rhondda banter) haha! The build up to the evening was great and had everyone up on the dance floor. The only thing I would make a comment on was during our wedding myself and my husband were being asked a lot of questions about how we wanted things set up / who suppliers were etc. I feel this could have been done before/after the day as a sunset package we were restricted on time. This isn’t a negative because I would still highly recommend the place. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great day – even Rob with his off beat humour! So many of our guests have said it was one of the funniest weddings they’ve been to, and that’s down to all the staff at Ridgeway and their hard work! Thank you so much ❤️
We got married at the Ridgeway on the 27th of July. I can’t thank the staff at the Ridgeway enough, our day was truely magical from start to finish! Alison and Ollie made sure our glasses was never empty and that we was aware of what was happening next etc, they are both so professional and helpful. Our guest commented on how good our wedding was and with Bills fun and games it made the wedding a lot more entertaining in the evening rather than a formal event. Shout out to Sam behind the bar who made us laugh alot, to Charlotte who took some amazing photos/videos for the venue and is an absolute gem and to Gareth who was our point of contact with the venue.
Special mention of Rob who is an absolute legend he calmed my nerves on the way to the venue, made us laugh so much on our photoshoot, he livened up the dance floor and got everyone up and dancing and then even giving us a lift home at the end of the night, he is one of the nicest, funniest guy you will ever meet and the perfect wingman!

My now-husband and I recently had the most magical wedding at Ridgeway Golf on the 16th july, and we cannot express how grateful we are for the exceptional experience we had. From start to finish, the entire team, led by the incredible Gareth and Ali and bill, made our special day truly unforgettable.
First and foremost, Gareth, the wedding coordinator, was an absolute gem. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in good hands. He was attentive, organized, and always had a calm demeanor that reassured us during the planning process. Gareth meticulously took care of every detail, making sure our vision came to life flawlessly. He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and his expertise was evident in every aspect of the ceremony and reception. Now, let’s talk about Shades the Driver! This little touch added so much charm to our wedding day. not only was he the driver but he also was the extra co-ordinator/events specialist/dj/photo booth man! The , he also got everyone to sign the wedding book using one of the photos which is amazing because I love making memories! and this day is by far My best memory so far! he also made sure we had food and drinks all night!

Where do I start? My now wife, fell head over heels in love with the venue and it certainly didn’t fail to provide us with the ‘Best Wedding Day ever’. From the 1st time we visited and met the team we knew we picked the right venue! Gareth, Bill, Rob and every single one of the team were absolutely amazing!
Knowing that your wedding day is the most special day for any couple they more than delivered on each and every aspect of the day and evening! So one of the main criteria for selecting this place was the fact there was Prawn Cocktail available. Now for most people this probably wouldn’t be one of the main reasons for selection! However, I start as I mean to go on and I provided my wife with what she wanted! Now back to what we got!
Every single aspect of what we wanted was so easy and to be totally honest exactly what we wanted and more. I chose to have the Porsche as my car and it blew me away! Little did I know my wife turned up in exactly the same car!!! All of our entertainment choices were fulfilled!
I would highly recommend to anyone getting married to chose this place because you will not be disappointed!
So many of our guests stated it was the ‘ Best Wedding’ they had ever been too. We had guest who had flown in from overseas too!

Recently had a wedding at Ridgeway Golf club on the 9th July. Which my husband and I and all our guests throughly enjoyed.
During the lead up to the day Gareth made sure we felt at ease and happy to answer any questions we had via emails/phonecalls.
It was a large wedding with a total guest number of 127 attending both the ceremony and the wedding buffet and party after. On the day it all went smoothly despite the torrential rain and thunder meaning the outside setup had to be changed last minute. This was not a problem for Ridgeway and they were able to easily accommodate this.
Ridgeway were happy to listen to all the extras I had planned for the day such as welshcakes and drink toppers, they made sure they were set up and ready for the guests. They were also happy for us to use outside suppliers such a singer and a saxophonist for entertainment. We also supplied our own table centre pieces and extras for the tables such as wedding newspapers and scavenger picture hunt. Ridgeway made sure this was set up exactly how we asked for and it looked beautiful on the day.
All the staff at Ridgeway were very helpful and supportive on the day. Especially Gareth for all the setup, Ally and Olly for making us feel at ease on the day and making sure we were both always supplied with drinks. Bill for the night time entertainment and making sure all the guests had a good time. Rob for the drive to the venue and making me feel less nervous during the drive. ( I now know his favorite sandwich filling!)
We had the best time and everyone has mentioned how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed themselves.

Not enough words, time or space to fully express how our special day at Ridgeway went! What a venue… Gareth, Ally from the valley, Rob and Oliver were all second to none… and genuinely there for us and our guests, no pleasantries just because its their job! They all genuinely put their heart and souls into making our day so very special and one unforgettable experience!
The marquee was decorated brilliantly, the ambience was unreal… attention to detail everywhere! Its not too small, its not too big, its perfect and extremely personal… me and my wife and all our guests were taken aback without exception and from the moment we all arrived we were looked after with a very personal feel… there is nothing plastic about this place whatsoever and we’re so glad we found and chose Ridgeway!
Gareth, I have no words… he really looked after my wife, from the initial visit right through, in constant contact at all hours to answer everything we threw at him! He led the ceremony as it was a vow renewal, he had no qualms in telling us he was bricking it… but he nailed it and made it for us! When he handed it over to Ally, she kept up the standard… ensuring we were all looked after and the day going to plan… it was difficult, why? Because we’re not formal or regimented and she accommodated that for us, so thanks Ally and Gareth for letting it flow in the way we wanted it… naturally! I’d like to think we helped see you guys shine for who you really are and not having to worry too much about us!
Rob from the Matrix… fair play, he had to put up the with girls! Arriving at the house in good time and having to get in the kitchen with them before they all left… If he had turned up any earlier… he would’ve had a right handful, as the nutters, excluding my wife had just left, impeccable timing… he’s not just the driver btw, jack of all trades is Rob, and he certainly keeps things going supporting all the other staff and injecting some humour along the way! Thanks Rob for helping it flow and nudging the photographer to let him know we was hungry, do the photos later mate! Rob must have had a former life driving for Arthur Daley!
Oliver and the remainder of the staff who had the pleasure of looking after us as the drinks flowed certainly kept things going, what lovely staff, Oliver always ensured our drinks were topped up… what a lovely young man, he’s a credit to Ridgeway and the venue will be in safe hands if he’s the future!
Thanks Bill for the evening entertainment… my wife never told me about it, it was an unexpected surprise, but it was great, everyone loved it and even though the ice was broken well and truly before we arrived, he broke more off! Thanks! You have some great staff there, real diamonds… I hope our approach to a party (the entire day!) let them shine through even more, that’s how we felt it went, no plastic approach there, real and genuine, our guests really made to feel welcome and to enjoy the day… everyone commented on how genuine everyone was… this is certainly not a corporate approach at Ridgeway, and its an approach to be embraced, why? Its personal!
Thanks again all… Gareth, honestly, you nailed that for us and you made my wife feel so at ease from day one, which meant I didn’t need to get involved, excluding bankrolling it! Lol! Which brings me on to value for money! What we had far exceeded what we paid… and what we have, really far exceeded what we paid… a great memory for everyone who came, no price on that… but seriously, to potential venue bookers, Ridgeway is worth every penny and we need to keep these personal venues going, they have great people working there who genuinely put everything into what they do! I cannot recommend Ridgeway enough… if you’re considering booking, please do, you will not be disappointed!

I really don’t know where to start!! We married at Ridgeway on Saturday 18th March but the amazing teams support began from our very first meeting!! On the end of the phone or email, answering any questions or queries I had. Gareth was so supportive, he even rang me the day before the wedding, as he knew I was nervous. Rob was fantastic calming my nerves from the minute he collected me, and throughout the day, ensuring I had everything I needed. Even a hot chocolate as it was a little cold, whilst having photos taken!! Nothing was too much trouble and along with Ollie and Bill entertaining us in the evening, they ensured we had a perfect wedding day, it truly was just that!! I know that there are many people who also make the day happen, caterers, bar staff and far more quietly working behind the scenes, everybody has been carefully selected and provide the best service and value for money!! Our guests are still commenting that it was the best wedding they have ever been too!! Such a compliment to us, but especially to the team at Ridgeway!! The staff, support, venue, views, decoration & attention to detail, literally everything made it felt like we had extra family on our special day!! Honestly, Ridgeway made our wedding more perfect than we could have ever imagined! Gareth was always on hand to help with whatever we needed during the planning process and nothing was ever a big ask. from the moment I got picked up in the car by Rob I was put at complete ease, he talked to us all the way to the venue and was so calming.
I was offered a drink as soon as I got there and was talked through everything that was going to happen, and throughout the whole day. we were constantly checked on to see if we were okay and if we needed anything which was amazing and we knew if I had any problem they’d be on hand to help. the food was delicious and hot and everyone commented how lovely it was which was a relief! my husband was sooo nervous for his big speech and Rob was amazing at keeping him calm and reassuring him the whole day
The reception? we’ll that was absolutely fantastic! everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and was so lovely to see the whole room on their feet enjoying themselves, thank-you so much bill for an amazing party.

The morning of everyone was amazing from the time rob picked my wife up and bill picking me up, rob making sure that we never had a empty drink. Where do we start?
April 2022 we went to view Ridgeway, simply off the back of a recommendation and as something to do. Little did we know, within 2 weeks we would be officially planning our wedding.
Of course, everything was so overwhelming as it all happened so fast but Gareth was an absolute star!! There was nothing I asked of Ridgeway that was not fulfilled! Gareth was at the end of the phone anytime I needed him, he doesn’t just make you feel like another bride, he makes you feel like a friend.
Unfortunately, we needed to push our date back a few months, and this again was fulfilled with no issues at all. Bill was also Fantastic, always so helpful, nothing was too much trouble at all.
Fast forward to the day, and on behalf of myself and my husband, we seriously want to thank, Bill Gareth, Alison, Ollie, Rob, Sam, Ethan, Anna, and The other staff present, From the bottoms of our hearts! the day honestly exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, but that didn’t matter.
The venue was decorated beautifully, the food was beautiful, and plenty of. Even the buffet was huge which Anna was in charge of, and the selection of food was fantastic.
I can’t speak for my husband’s experience, but once Bill and Rob arrived with both cars to our accommodation to collect me and my bridal party I was made to feel so at ease. Bill and Rob met us at the door with Unberellas to ensure we stayed dry, helped us into the cars, and the same once we arrived at Ridgeway.
Once we arrived, we were met by Alison who took me through to have my meeting with the registrars. From there she guided me through what would happen next, and popped us all into position ready to walk down the aisle. I had always envisioned each member of my bridal party walking down at certain points in the entrance music, but I hadn’t mentioned it. They must have read my mind, as each person was lead down exactly on cue.
There was never a moment where we didn’t know what was going on. We were kept in the loop by Gareth, Bill or Alison on what was due to happen in the next half hour or so and never allowed not have a drink in hand.
And on to the entertainment…….Absolutely Fantastic!!! I don’t think I’d laughed so much in a long time.
You’re probably reading this thinking I’m going over the top with the praise, but if I could praise Ridgeway more I would!! When i read previous reviews i thought surely these people are being slightly dramatic, but they weren’t!! there is a reason they have been rewarded the best wedding venue in Wales and other awards for 2022. They simply are amazing.
Fortunately, we were in the position to set a date and marry in less than a year. both myself and my partner said we are so glad we didn’t wait and chose a different venue for 2024, as originally planned because I seriously doubt any Lavish overly priced venue could top Ridgeway!
Last but not least, a shout-out to Shaun the doorman, for being the only other country fan in the room. Seeing someone else sharing my love for Luke Combs was lush!!

Fantastic wedding venue, Gareth, Bill, Rob, Olly and Ally are all amazing at what they do. They went above and beyond for Neil and I. From viewing the venue, right up until this morning where we are now officially a married couple, they are still looking after us. I want to put a special mention to Rob who I met properly when he picked me up in the wedding car, I had forgotten and left some things at home and he went out of his way to go back and pick those items up and to make sure I had what I needed, helped me throughout the day and even cleaned off my shoes after I walked on mud, now that is going the extra mile . The Venue looked stunning, the people were all friendly and we couldn’t recommend Ridegway Golf club enough …brilliant place
My wife and I recently held our wedding at Ridgeway Golf 4 All] on February 4th and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The venue, food, and support from Gareth, Ali, Ollie, and Rob were all exceptional, but the evening entertainment truly stole the show! The food was outstanding, genuinely couldn’t believe how many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, and the quantity of food! The entertainment got all of our guests up and dancing, and was enjoyed by everyone. It was the perfect way to cap off an already perfect day. Rob, our driver, was also amazing and ensured that my now-wife arrived safely and comfortably to the venue. We cannot thank the team at Ridgeway enough for all of their hard work in making our special day everything we could have ever dreamed of. Many of our guests who have attended many weddings over the years, commented it was the best wedding they have ever attended and this is thanks to all the staff at Ridgeway, especially GARETH! Ridgeway is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever viewed for a wedding/reception so of course we had to book it. The marquee is just perfect! Massive shout out to Gareth the events manager for adjusting it slightly making it a very special day with both reception and Christmas party combined. He even wore a santa suit and handed out presents to the kids followed by dancing and photos. This was amazing and he got everyone involved!
Bill the owner what a lovely man he is, very welcoming and very professional to the highest standard. Hes always on the other end of the phone if you need him and he also gets stuck in on the night. Without spoiling the fun you won’t be disappointed if you book!
Credit to Rob he was with us all night keeping me informed with everything, ensured it all ran smoothly, professional and very enjoyable! What a fab employee!

Wow what can I say but what an amazing day we had. The day was magical, all our friends and family have said best wedding ever and the entertainment is just amazing.
Gareth honestly you are the most down to earth lovable man I have ever met and your DJ skills are just brilliant.
Rob who picked me and my dad up was just so funny, he really made me feel at ease when i was so nervous. And with him on the photo mirror it was just so funny our guests loved him.

We got married here 29/9/2022 and what a day it was.
From the first meeting we had we knew this was where we wanted to get married both Gareth and bill were amazing such lovely guys so easy to get on with we had a few meetings throughout the months and they had so much time for us everything we wanted needed it was sorted.
The wedding day was just so perfect all the staff there went above and beyond they made us both feel at ease.
From picking me up and taking me to the venue obviously I was nervous but they made me feel so relaxed before walking down the isle to the love of my life.
The scenery for the photos from the golf buggy the lakes and the woods was amazing.

Bill is bonkers and gave us one hell of a party…… in the words of our guests “we have never been to a wedding like it “ we would love to come back and do it all again. Also thanks to the caters for a lovely meal and buffet and thanks to Gareth who held all our pre wedding meetings and always gave us a free drink

From booking our date just 16-weeks before, we had several meetings to make sure everything was how we wanted. Nothing was too much for the team, they always went above an beyond.
They are not lying when they tell you that they will take care of everything. Our stress was limited to turning up to the venue the day before the venue with a few boxes.
The team looked after all day to make our wedding day so special.
If your considering this venue, do not hesitate to book. Even the 5 star revues don’t do this venue justice. We could not have had a better experience or day!
I can honestly say the day was PERFECT!
From our first viewing with Bill to the constant messages and phone calls and putting us at ease, there was never any issues with my messages they put us at ease at every opportunity.
It seemed too easy to book and everything be sorted by them (apart from registrar obviously) but it was that EASY! The team at ridgeway were fab, they were more like friends than anything.
When Rob picked me up, I felt so relaxed and comfortable like I’d known him my whole life. He even said he had Haribo rings incase they were forgotten! They weren’t luckily!
Throughout the day he was there if we needed him and made sure we always had a drink in our hand! This man was there for us for the whole day, if ever we needed anything he was there, even down to taking photos for us on our phones, taking us around on the golf buggy and being a real friend!
When I arrived Bill came to greet us, he made sure there were no guests in car park as I got out of the car, asked how I was feeling, made me feel at ease and said he would be back later on for the entertainment. Bill was amazing, the evening entertainment was spot on and got everyone involved, even those I didn’t think would! He was constantly there for a chat and made sure we were okay throughout.
Lastly Ollie, well I can honestly say he was superb! This man is truly one of a kind and made our day perfect, he went above and beyond for us to make sure the day went as planned, he’s a cheeky chap and if you have the pleasure of having this man on your day you’ll have a blast!
The food, well I was well and truly stuffed after the main but there was no way I was leaving the desert! The food was delicious and everyone commented on how nice it was and even though there were so many guests the food was still hot! Everyone loved it, including our children ages 3, 4 and 6!!

Bill, kindly lent us his Harley for a photo shoot and kept the guests highly entertained & Rob… well he couldn’t do enough for us or the guests! A resident DJ, chauffeur & party animal!! The catering staff did us proud as we needed quite a few variations on the meals and not once was it questioned!! We honestly couldn’t recommend enough and I can promise you, you would not be disappointed… Many of our guests have said it was the best party they’ve ever been to!!
It’s been a long journey since the start, back in 2019 and Ridgeway have been with us all the way!! Through 2 postponements due to Covid both Bill and Gareth have been superb, regularly keeping in touch updating us and reassuring us right up until our ‘Big Day’ on Sunday 17th July 2022 when they pulled out ALL the stops and made our day ‘AMAZING’ . The set up looked stunning, the food was delicious and boy they certainly know how to throw a party!!!! Everyone of our guests thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish; it was SO MUCH FUN. Both Ally and Rob took care of us all day, whist poor Gareth had the hard job of distressing both me and my husband, which somehow he managed to do so well whilst still making sure that the day went to plan; Gareth fair play, you were out of this world. They also managed to create so many personal moments, such as the father/daughter song’ that DID actually turn into a dance. This is a memory which will be cherished forever especially by me and my dad. Thank you so much for making that moment, along with the rest of the day all come true!!! When we started looking at venues, our priority was price as we had a small budget. The dream was a beautiful venue, in beautiful surroundings in a perfect location for a Cardiff girl and caerphilly boy. When we viewed ridgeway our dreams came true.
Gareth and Bill were amazing from the get go, so genuine and friendly.
Then we had the worst news, that my beautiful mum didn’t have long left to live and she would not make it to our booked 2023 wedding.
After a chat with Bill, our wedding was brought forward a whole year, one of very few dates left, Bill made it happen. Then the rush was on, Gareth was amazing, and I knew my vision for the day was in safe hands.
On the morning of the wedding I was so nervous, then along came Rob, what a character, he eased all my nerves and made me laugh all the way to the venue.
Our day was perfect, set up beautifully. From start to finish pure perfection. Ally and Chris looked after us all day, can not fault them, so lovely. Every single member of staff was friendly and polite and full of smiles and laughter. The food was absolutely stunning! I’ve recieved so many compliments about the food, the venue and the staff. The evening party was so much fun, even tho we didn’t book Bill for entertainment (I’m sorry Bill)
We love a dance so went with our own playlist. Rob managed that for us and even joined in for a dance!! Magic mirror is the absolute best. Looking over the photos and messages the next day was so nice!!
Everything that Is involved in the package with ridgeway is outstanding. You will not get that anywhere else.

After seeing my brother-in-law get married here in 2019, my wife and I knew this was the perfect place for us to get married. During the planning process Bill and Gareth were very attentive and answered any questions we had no matter how silly they seemed and nothing was too much to ask!
The day was absolutely perfect and not a single thing went wrong. Bill, Rob, Gareth and Chris were amazing making sure we were happy and always had a drink in hand!

Hi all, sorry for the delay in sending across a review, we have only just got back from honeymoon. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for such an amazing day. It was everything we could have imagined and more. The day ran so smoothly despite how nervous I was, Gareth was amazing at calming my nerves and making sure we all knew what we were doing. The meetings with Gareth were amazing, everyone commented on how relaxed we were, and that’s because we knew our wedding was in safe hands with Gareth. The marquee looked absolutely incredible, and the effort put in to make it perfect was absolutely amazing!! A huge thank you to Rob who was just fantastic!! Finally, after postponing last year, we got to celebrate our big day at this beautiful venue. From our 1st viewing in January 2019, to our wedding day April 30th 2022 the ridgeway team have upgraded what was already a beautiful venue, into something far more beautiful than we could ever have hoped for. A few people asked if my face hurt from smiling yesterday…but it was a smile that I couldn’t help because the day was just perfect. Bill Gareth and Rob. Nick and I absolutely cannot thank you enough for the time and effort you put in to making sure our day was perfect. Gareth, your ocd absolutely works wonders for the dressing and planning of the venue because it was absolutely beautiful, it was so much more beautiful than we could have imagined. You made sure the day ran smoothly, and for that we are thankful. Rob, everyone needs a Rob in their life. He’s like 55 different occupations rolled into 1! From arriving at the house to drive me to the venue, taking part in being photography, climbing up and slipping down bankings to produce the loveliest of photos, to making sure we had everything we need throughout the day, to being the dj in the evening, to running the photo mirror, then finally chauffeuring us home. Super human! And Bill, what a belter of an evening party you put on. From the games, to the music, you make sure that everyone is up dancing and getting involved creating a fantastic party atmosphere. Everyone who came said what an amazing party it was and that your hosting of the party made our wedding party one of the best wedding parties they’d been to! After 3 years and 5 replans we finally got married on 8.4.22. And we couldnt have asked for a better day. I really dont think i could write a review that would do Ridgeway justice. The whole day was amazing from start to finish, Rob didnt just drive the bridal car he was dress carrier and glasses holder nothing was too much trouble. Even driving us back to Merthyr at the end of the night. The venue looked stunning and the food was amazing. It really was the best day of our lives! Our wedding day was perfect. We simply could not of asked for anything more. Both being vegan we struggled finding a venue that would accommodate / offer us more than the standard boring one food option. But Bill, his wife anna and Gareth went above and beyond to make our 100% vegan wedding one to remember. Everyone absolutely loved the food, clearly shown by the mountains on their plates. It completely exceeded our expectations.

The highlight of my day I must say is Rob he is the most amazing BRIDE side kick, from the start was umbrellas at the ready for the walk to the ceremony to the photos in the wet British weather! The highlight of the grooms day was how seamless everything was made, when you plan a wedding there are so many moving parts that have to work together but everyone at Ridgeway made it such a smooth operation and when they said that they would take care of everything – THEY MEAN IT! Can’t thank Ridgeway enough for our wedding day! We didn’t even have the ceremony at ridgeway but as soon as we came out of the church, Bill greeted us with a glass of Prosecco each from the back of the cars, couldn’t beat the service!

Gareth, Rob & the team at Ridgeway quite simply made our day perfect. From start to end there was no task too big or small that they wouldn’t rush to complete in order to help things run smoothly. The venue itself was incredible, the recent upgrades and design changes that have been made to the marquee allowed for a beautiful setting for our day with family and friends. The food was incredible (especially the apple crumble) and the evening buffet was just what we needed.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The Marquee was decorated beautifully, the staff could not do enough for you, friendly, engaging and always smiling for the entire day and night. The service was excellent. The evening entertainment with Bill and his team ensured celebrations continued with laughter dancing and merriment. We got married here on 05/12/2021 and wow what a day and night! Gareth, bill and Rob went out of their way to make me feel special throughout the day and nothing was too much for them. Not only was it the best night of our lives- our guests were telling us it was the best night of their lives too! Me and my husband finally got married at Ridgeway on 13th December after postponing previously due to covid. Firstly, I would like to thank Bill and Gareth for being so readily available day and night over the last year.. I don’t know how they do it. Whenever I called (and there were a lot of calls) it would either be answered straight away or I’d get a call back within 2 minutes! Boarding cruises or not! 
We chose Ridgeway not only because the venue was perfect but because I wanted a stress free planning which I certainly got ! What an amazing day we had… from start to finish every single thing was perfect! The attention to detail was untouchable and the catering staff were so efficient and understanding with my mums severe allergies.

We got married here on 05/12/2021 and wow what a day and night! Gareth, Bill and Rob went out of their way to make me feel special throughout the day and nothing was too much for them. Not only was it the best night of our lives- our guests were telling us it was the best night of their lives too! The party in the evening was spectacular, the most fun any of us had ever had at a wedding.. a real night to remember.. we didn’t want to go home it was decorated beautifully, it looked outstanding! We got married 28th November 2021, it was an amazing day, the team at ridgeway were absolutely amazing, I booked this wedding in 2019 and due to Covid this was our third date but by god was it worth the wait, they made the whole wedding process so easy and stress free. Well what can I say, after 3 times rearranging our wedding we decided to come to Ridgeway golf club and we absolutely had a fantastic time. Amazing effort by all the staff. Gareth was an amazing wedding coordinator, Bill was awesome in the night party. The night party was different to any other wedding that I’ve been to. Our daughter’s Angharad wedding to Llewelly was on 26th November. Even though the weather was awful the Ridgeway went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure people’s spirits weren’t dampened. Whatever I asked Gareth for was sorted with immediate effect, Rob is a man of many talents even making sure we were all ok on the mini bur to our hotel. Bill there are no words to say what an amazing compere he is, our family don’t need an excuse to party which they took full advantage of. I would highly recommend The Ridgeway Golf Club 100

I panic over the slightest thing but Gareth reassured me and there really was no need to panic as the team was amazing the venue was perfect Gareth went above and beyond for our special day rob was always around even when I needed my dress and veil to be put right the food as was beautiful and the Apple crumble is to dye for they even put the Xmas decs up early for me as it went with my theme I can’t praise and recommend this venue enough our best man don’t like cooked dinner so Gareth sorted an alternative meal for him which put my mind to rest thank you all so much the bar staff the driver rob the co ordinater Gareth and the owner Bill for making our day perfect

Myself and Alex got married here on 05.11.2021 we had the best day ever! Bill, Gareth and Rob were absolutely amazing nothing was ever to much! From 4 date moves due to covid to the big day finally happening these guys where just the best! Our day was truly magical and would do it all over again in a heart beat! I honestly can’t rate and praise this venue enough they took all our stress away and gave us the best day and the ultimate party to celebrate getting everyone involved. If your looking for a venue with people who care and support you for the duration this is definitely the place. They dress the marquee beautifully making it feel very romantic and cozy! We booked our wedding with Bill at Ridgeway in 2018, to be married in August 2020. When the pandemic hit at the beginning of 2020 we remained hopeful the wedding would go ahead, however due to local lockdowns and Covid restrictions we were unable to proceed. Throughout the whole of 2020 and up until our final wedding date on 26.03.21 Bill kept in regular contact with us and amended our date 5 times, each time without any hesitation and without any problems. We were continuously told that the venue would do anything and everything they could to ensure our day would run smoothly without any hiccups, and I have never heard a truer statement. Regardless of current restrictions and social distancing rules, we had the most perfect day and the team at Ridgeway made it an unforgettable day. I’ve heard so many stories of people getting married at other venues that have had to postpone due to covid and have been forced to pay an increase in package fees or admin fees, however we were able to change our date to try and fit in with guidelines as many times as we needed without any hassle and any increase in money. I honestly could not recommend Ridgeway enough, especially during these uncertain times that have affected everyone. They gave us and our guests a wonderful day during hard times and have also booked a reception for us next year to complete the celebrations. For anyone too worried to book their wedding because of the pandemic, Ridgeway will ensure you’re looked after, kept in the loop every step of the way and will go above and beyond to make sure you have the most magical day!
Our wedding yesterday was absolutely perfect!
We first met Bill and saw the venue back in August. A friend of mine had shared the page on Facebook and it just looked beautiful.
This was the first wedding venue we’d chosen to view and in all honesty we weren’t looking for anything for at least a couple of years but thought a little nose around wouldn’t hurt anyways.
From the moment we walked into the venue we fell in love. The marquee is stunning as are the views off the deck, overlooking the golf course and the rest of the mountain. We could already see ourselves becoming husband and wife in such an idyllic place.
Of course the set up is just the foundations of building a perfect wedding day, we had to ensure that we had people as invested in our big day as we were.
Bill and his team proved their investment from day one. We chose quite an inopportune date to wed, especially with Covid still raging so for the weeks leading up to the day I had many a panicked conversation with Bill (all the panic on my side, he was always a walking billboard of ‘cool, calm and collected’) as we lost the ability to invite guests and then the ability to have our reception.
This was never a problem for Bill. Every time the government set up new rules he would come up with a new and amazing idea to ensure our day went without issue and would be as perfect as could be.
Nothing was too much trouble for the team, when the venue was ready Bill called and asked us if we’d like to see it, in hindsight I’m so so glad we said yes as yesterday I wasn’t able to fully appreciate the beauty of it all because all I could see was my husband to be.
The amazing wedding car driven by the lovely Rob was an amazing addition to the day. Rob was so helpful in getting me and my huge dress in and out of the car several times!
We had a bit of time to waste on our way so he took us through the McDonald’s drive through and bought my step-daughter some nuggets. I can categorically say that that memory alone will live with Tessia for the rest of her life. Her day was absolutely made haha. It’s also an amazing and hilarious memory that I’ll cherish too. The kindness shown to us yesterday was honestly second to none.
Bill took lots and lots of photos of the day also and that was such a lovely gesture. The pictures are perfect (thank you!!)
Rather than ever feeling like a ‘customer’ we always felt like family. I cannot recommend Ridgeway or Bill and his team enough to anyone who is looking to get married.
Roll on next year as we’ve decided that we’ll have our reception on our first anniversary. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be a party to remember and will be a total blast!
So thanks again to all at Ridgeway. We can’t wait to start planning our reception with you and look forward to a catch up soon. Much love x

We got married here on Saturday 5th December 20 and would like to thank Bill, Rob and the team for making our special day so memorable and perfect! Even with all the COVID restrictions we could not have wished for a more perfect day! We would not have a changed a thing. They really went over and above and felt like they were part of our big day.
Bill and Rob were so attentive and took care of our every need to ringing me the night before to check how I was, arriving at my mum’s early, positioning my dress, making detours to capture perfect pictures at the castle, making the beautiful highlights video and ensuring all our guests had a fantastic day. If anyone is considering Ridgeway as a venue, I would not think twice. The marquee and grounds are stunning and as you can see from the pictures posted.

From the first time Lanie and I met Bill Fitzgerald – proprietor of Ridgeway Golf 4 All and Events Marquee – his warmth and passion of providing a never-to-forget Wedding venue was evident on that first meeting. A passion never wavered right up to and throughout our special day yesterday -1st March 2020.
Bill, his wedding professional Ryan, and other team members to include Rob and Karen prepared the Wedding Marquee in the most stunning way and made us feel extra special from the moment we arrived in the morning, to the time we left after our Wedding Celebration party at midnight.
Our Wedding ran so smoothly, with Bill and his team making sure that our day was perfect from start to finish. They re-configured the Marquee between Service, Wedding Breakfast and Evening Celebration Party with such speed to keep our day flowing seamlessly and each time we went back into the marquee we were amazed at how breathtakingly beautiful it was presented.
A special thank you to Bill and Rob for looking after the bride and her bridal party between the Hotel and the Marquee. They went over and above to ensure the rain shower did not in any way get the dresses or hair wet.
The Wedding Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and we cannot write this review without mentioning Brownings Caterers for providing such wonderful food for all our guests.
Moving into the Celebration Evening Party. Bill, Ryan and Rob stepped up to another level and hosted our party with such professionalism. The atmosphere they created from the outset got everyone up on their feet and their stamina to keep the enjoyment level for all our guests at the highest level throughout the night was evident by the comments our guests gave to us as to how much fun they had all day. Even as the clock struck midnight, Bill and Rob ensured that all our guests were transferred safely back to a nearby Hotel and my new wife and I were transferred to the Hotel in luxury in the bridal car, which showed how they go out of their way to give the best experience they can give even after the end of the party.
Lanie and I would like to finish off this review by sending Ridgeway Golf 4 All a massive Thank You for making our day so special, and in addition to recommending your venue within this review, we will be singing your praises verbally to our family and friends for a very long time.

Rob starts your wedding day collecting you from your home in a stunning wedding car, he is professional yet warm & friendly and helps to calm any nerves.
Arriving at the venue is perfectly co-ordinated so your guests don’t see you enter the clubhouse. The marquee looks stunning for the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening party. Gemma is very helpful and friendly and Paul is a legend!
Food is yummy, bubbles flow nicely and the whole experience that Ryan and team deliver is magical.
All of our guests (day & night) have said that it was the best wedding that they have been too!
